In the first quarter of 2021, the Android car gaming scene in Australia showed varied performance among the top titles. Sensor Tower provides insights into how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Parking Jam 3D from Popcore Games started the quarter with downloads peaking at around 9K and ended on a high note with approximately 9K in the final week. The weekly active users saw an upward trend, starting at 18K and reaching a peak of 31K. Revenue for the game began at $76K and saw fluctuations, concluding the quarter at $52K.
Zynga's Gear Race 3D experienced a decline in downloads from 17K to around 2K by the end of the quarter. The weekly active users followed a similar downward trajectory, starting at roughly 18K and dwindling to 4K. The game did not generate revenue during this period.
TapNice's Slingshot Stunt Driver & Sport showed an interesting pattern, with downloads initially at 2K, dipping to a low of 225, and then soaring to over 8K before settling at around 2K. Weekly active users mirrored this volatility, with numbers starting at 3K, peaking at over 11K, and ending the quarter at 5K. Revenue saw an overall increase from $119K to $202K.
AxesInMotion Racing's Extreme Car Driving Simulator maintained consistent download numbers, ranging from 3K to around 3K over the quarter. Weekly active users showed slight fluctuations but remained relatively steady, starting at 7K and finishing at 7K. Revenue began at $423K, dipped to $241K mid-quarter, and then rebounded to $401K by the end of March.
Finally, Park Master by KAYAC Inc. saw downloads decrease from 6K to around 2K. Weekly active users exhibited a decreasing trend from 25K to 13K. Revenue for Park Master was negligible, with the highest reported figure being $14K in the last week of January.
