The first quarter of 2021 has been an eventful period for Match 3 games in the United States. Data gathered by Sensor Tower provides an overview of how the top 5 games in this category performed on a unified iOS and Android platform. Let's delve into the numbers.

Candy Crush Saga by King maintained a steady flow of revenue, peaking at nearly $10M in the final week of December and then showing a gradual decline to around $7.9M by the end of March. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight dip from 237K in late December to 185K by March's end. The game's weekly active users (WAU) saw an increase, rising from 2.7M to nearly 3M.

Moving on to Homescapes, also by Playrix, we observed a revenue trend starting at $6.7M and decreasing to roughly $4.7M. The game's downloads showed a decline from 354K to 194K, while WAU fluctuated, ending slightly higher at around 2M in late March compared to 1.9M at the beginning of the year.

Gardenscapes, another title from Playrix, saw its revenue decrease from $4.5M to $4.2M. The download numbers for Gardenscapes declined from 202K to 131K. In terms of active users, the game experienced a slight drop from 1M to 949K.
