The third quarter of 2021 saw notable trends in the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on Android in Kuwait. Here’s a detailed look at the weekly downloads and active users for the leading apps: Careem – rides, food & more, Uber - Request a ride, inDrive. Save on city rides, RideRove, and Bolt: Request a Ride.
Careem – rides, food & more saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, climbing from around 450 in early July to over 1K by the end of August. Active users exhibited a similar upward trend, growing from approximately 15K at the start of the quarter to around 16K by the end of September.
Uber - Request a ride showed steady weekly downloads, starting at 351 and reaching up to 451 by late September. The app maintained a consistent base of active users, fluctuating between 16K and 18K throughout the quarter.
inDrive. Save on city rides had a notable spike in downloads in late September, peaking at 690. Active users increased steadily from about 1.5K in late June to over 2.2K by September's end.
RideRove experienced consistent growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 148 in late June and reaching 216 by the end of September. However, there is no data available for active users.
Bolt: Request a Ride also saw a rise in weekly downloads, particularly in mid-September, reaching 276 downloads. Active users grew from 426 at the start of the quarter to 670 by the end of September.
