In the third quarter of 2021, the top navigation and maps applications in Cyprus showed varied performance in terms of downloads and revenue. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared.

Google Maps experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 1.8K in the final week of September. The app maintained a consistent upward trend throughout the quarter, particularly from mid-August onwards.

Google Earth saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads. Downloads peaked at 849 in the first week of August but declined to 495 by the end of September. Despite these fluctuations, the app managed to sustain a moderate download rate overall.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic exhibited a similar trend with its weekly downloads. The app saw a peak of 574 downloads in mid-August but experienced a gradual decline to 342 by the end of September. Nonetheless, the app maintained a steady presence in the market.

Revenue for Sygic showed slight variances, peaking at $187 in the second week of August and maintaining a consistent average around $140-$160 towards the end of the quarter.

Finally, MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav experienced a slight decrease in downloads, starting from 432 in early July and dropping to 288 by the end of September. Revenue for MAPS.ME was minimal, with a peak of $22 in mid-July and stabilizing at lower values through the rest of the quarter.
