In Q1 2022, the top 5 Health and Fitness apps in Latin America showcased diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.
Home Fitness Coach: FitCoach from WELLTECH APPS LIMITED saw significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at about 583K in the first week of January. Weekly revenue peaked at nearly $60K in the same week. Active users showed an initial surge to over 1M in early January but gradually declined to around 315K by the end of March.
Flo Period & Pregnancy Tracker by Flo Health Inc. maintained a consistent performance. Weekly revenue experienced a steady increase, reaching approximately $65K in early March. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak at 222K in the first week of January. Active users hovered around 4.4M to 4.5M throughout the quarter.
Home Workout - No Equipment from Leap Fitness Group experienced moderate growth. Weekly revenue peaked at about $4.5K in early March. Downloads saw a high of 190K in the first week of January and remained steady around 140K to 150K towards the end of the quarter. Active users consistently stayed above 1M throughout Q1.
Workout for Women: Fit at Home, also by Leap Fitness Group, showed a notable peak in weekly downloads at 233K in the first week of January. Revenue peaked at around $3.6K in mid-January. Active users saw a peak of about 1.2M in early January, gradually declining to around 850K by the end of March.
The Blood Pressure App from QR Code Scanner experienced the most significant growth in weekly downloads, starting at 7.6K at the end of December and soaring to 289K by the third week of March. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at approximately 327K in the third week of March. However, this app did not generate any revenue during the quarter.
