In the second quarter of 2022, Bahrain's food delivery app market on the Android platform exhibited diverse performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics of the top five apps: Food, grocery & more, InstaShop: Grocery Delivery, Ahlan Rewards, Jahez, and Savur: Food & Entertainment.
Food, grocery & more saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter. Starting with 1K downloads in late March, the app experienced a peak of 1.7K in early May and closed the quarter with 1.3K downloads in late June.
InstaShop: Grocery Delivery also displayed variable download numbers. Downloads ranged from a low of 670 in late June to a high of 1.6K in late May. The app's performance was relatively stable, with notable peaks and troughs.
Ahlan Rewards experienced significant growth in weekly downloads. The app began the quarter with 762 downloads and saw a remarkable increase to 1.7K by mid-June before tapering off to 705 by the end of the quarter.
Jahez had a noteworthy surge in weekly downloads. Starting modestly with 74 downloads in late March, the app reached an impressive peak of 2.5K in mid-June, closing the quarter with 1.8K downloads.
Lastly, Savur: Food & Entertainment showed a mixed performance. The app's weekly downloads ranged from a low of 31 in mid-April to a peak of 1.6K in mid-June, ending the quarter with 262 downloads.
