During the third quarter of 2022, the top five dating apps on the Android platform in Bulgaria—Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date, Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date, OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative, myDates - Flirt & Chat App, and Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat—exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is a breakdown of their performance.
Throughout Q3, Tinder experienced consistent weekly revenue, with a peak of approximately $1.7K in early August. Weekly downloads also showed minor fluctuations, peaking at around 995 in late August. The number of weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 40K, with a slight dip to approximately 38K by the end of September.
Badoo saw a steady weekly revenue, peaking at about $1.3K at the start of August. Weekly downloads were consistent, averaging around 600, with a slight decline towards the end of September. The weekly active users saw a gradual decline from around 33K to approximately 29K over the quarter.
OmeTV's weekly revenue experienced a noticeable drop from $913 in early July to around $338 by the end of September. However, weekly downloads remained strong, peaking at approximately 2.5K in the last week of September. The app maintained a steady number of weekly active users, averaging around 22K with a peak of 23K in the final week.
myDates exhibited a significant increase in weekly revenue, reaching a high of about $886 at the end of August. However, weekly downloads were relatively low, peaking at around 242 in early August. The number of weekly active users was stable, averaging around 500 throughout the quarter.
Grindr's weekly revenue showed an upward trend, peaking at approximately $487 in early September. Weekly downloads also saw an increase, reaching about 457 in mid-August. Weekly active users increased from around 10K to a peak of 11.5K by mid-September.
