During the third quarter of 2022, the carpooling and ridesharing market in Tunisia saw notable activity across various apps. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps: Bolt: Request a Ride, inDrive. Save on city rides, Heetch - Ride-hailing app, Yassir, and Uber - Request a ride.
Bolt: Request a Ride had a strong quarter with weekly downloads fluctuating between 8.5K and 14.4K. The app experienced a peak in the week of August 22 with 14.4K downloads. Weekly active users showed a consistent increase, starting from 59.2K in late June and reaching 75.7K by the end of September.
inDrive. Save on city rides also saw significant activity. Weekly downloads ranged from 4.5K to 9.4K, with the highest downloads recorded in the week of September 12. Active users grew steadily from 70.9K at the beginning of the quarter to 92.1K by the end of September.
Heetch - Ride-hailing app had a more varied performance. Weekly downloads ranged from 3.2K to 6.1K, peaking in the week of September 19. Active users increased from 15K in late June to 18.3K by the end of the quarter.
Yassir showed a fluctuating trend in downloads, with numbers ranging from 270 to 2.3K. The app’s active users saw a decline over the quarter, starting at 25.6K in late June and ending at 16.4K by the end of September.
Uber - Request a ride had the lowest download numbers among the top five, ranging from 176 to 315 per week. However, it maintained a steady user base with active users hovering around 9.6K to 10.9K throughout the quarter.
