In the second quarter of 2023, Belgium's top carpooling and ridesharing apps exhibited diverse performance metrics, reflecting user engagement and market reach. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the weekly downloads and active user trends for these apps.
Uber - Request a ride experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 6.9K in the final week of June, up from 4.8K at the start of April. Active users also showed a steady rise throughout the quarter, growing from 150K to nearly 175K.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 5.8K downloads in the last week of June. Active users saw a gradual increase, from about 22K at the end of March to over 26K by the end of June.
Heetch - Ride-hailing app displayed relatively stable performance in weekly downloads, maintaining figures around the 1.1K to 1.5K range. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly but averaging around 5.8K to 6.3K throughout the quarter.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus showed steady weekly downloads, hovering between 1.1K and 1.3K. Active users demonstrated a modest increase from 8.1K at the end of March to approximately 8.7K by the end of June.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 1K to 1.3K. Active users saw a slight but steady increase, starting at around 18.5K in late March and reaching close to 19.7K by the end of June.
