During the second quarter of 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Bolivia exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and user engagement. Here’s a closer look at the numbers:
inDrive. Save on city rides demonstrated a dynamic download pattern, starting the quarter with around 28.5K downloads in late March. Downloads peaked in early May with approximately 86.6K downloads, followed by a gradual decline, ending June with about 37.5K downloads.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery had a strong presence, beginning Q2 with 47.2K downloads. The app saw a peak in the first week of April with 55.1K downloads and maintained a consistent, though slightly declining trend, closing the quarter with around 29K downloads.
Uber - Request a ride experienced modest but steady growth. Starting from 2K downloads in late March, it saw a slight increase, reaching a peak of 2.4K downloads in the last week of June.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a gradual increase in downloads, beginning the quarter at 354 downloads and peaking at 513 downloads by late May. The app's performance remained relatively stable, ending June with 442 downloads.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained a low but steady download rate throughout the quarter. Starting with 365 downloads at the end of March, the app's downloads fluctuated slightly, closing the quarter with 310 downloads.
