During the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 travel applications in the United States exhibited notable performance trends across both iOS and Android platforms. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads and active user statistics.
Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 331K at the beginning of the quarter and peaking at approximately 380K by the end of June. The app also maintained a robust active user base, fluctuating between 11M and 12.7M throughout the quarter.
Airbnb experienced a gradual rise in weekly downloads, starting at 203K and reaching a high of 267K by the last week of June. The active user count mirrored this trend, increasing from around 4.1M to 4.7M during the same period.
Lyft displayed a steady growth in weekly downloads, beginning at approximately 223K and culminating at 267K by the end of June. The active users for Lyft also showed an upward trend, growing from 5.6M to about 5.9M over the quarter.
