In Q3 2023, the top 5 convenience store apps in the United States demonstrated diverse performance trends across downloads and weekly active users. Here's a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.
Dollar General saw consistent download numbers, peaking at approximately 181.7K downloads in the week of August 28. Weekly active users showed a general upward trend, increasing from around 1.4M to 1.5M by the end of September.
7-Eleven: Rewards & Shopping experienced fluctuating downloads, with a notable spike to 212.3K in the week of July 10. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging between 1.3M and 1.6M throughout the quarter.
Circle K showed significant growth in downloads, reaching up to 130.4K in the week of August 28. Weekly active users also increased steadily, with numbers rising from 145.1K to 351.4K by the end of Q3.
Family Dollar had a moderate performance in downloads, peaking at 66.4K in the last week of June. Active users saw a slight decline, starting at 115.5K and ending the quarter at 91.3K.
Sheetz Food Delivery & Rewards experienced a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 42.6K in the final week of September. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, fluctuating between 124.8K and 152K over the quarter.
