In the third quarter of 2023, the top five food delivery services in Greece showed varied performance across downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at each app's performance based on Sensor Tower data.
efood delivery saw a consistent number of downloads, peaking at approximately 14.4K in the final week of September. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, with notable spikes in early July and late September. Active users for the app started at around 183K in late June, experienced a dip to approximately 129K in early August, and surged back to 180K by the end of September.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more had a steady download rate, ranging from 9.4K to 17.2K, with the highest number of downloads occurring in the last week of September. Active users showed growth from 100K in late June to 108K by the end of September, indicating a stable user base with slight upward momentum.
BOX experienced a moderate download range, peaking at around 10.7K in early September. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 68.3K in late June and showing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at around 71.3K in late September.
InstaShop: Grocery Delivery had a notable download increase from 493 in early August to a peak of approximately 2.7K in mid-September. Active users also showed an upward trend, starting at 7.1K in late June and reaching 8.2K by mid-September, before a slight decrease to 7.6K at the end of the quarter.
Pop Market: Grocery Delivery had the lowest download numbers among the top five, with a peak of around 2.1K in mid-July. The app's downloads saw a significant drop to as low as 133 in September. Unfortunately, active user data for Pop Market was not available.
