Top Fitness and Weight Loss Apps on Android in Hungary Q4 2023

During the fourth quarter of 2023, Hungary's Android market saw notable activity in the fitness and weight loss app category. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Fit: Activity Tracking experienced a significant decline in downloads, starting at approximately 31.3K in late September and dropping to around 737 by the end of December. Despite the decrease in downloads, the app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, fluctuating around 13K at the beginning and ending the quarter with roughly 9.4K.

Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) showed strong performance in weekly active users, starting at 38K and peaking at nearly 50K by the end of the quarter. Downloads also saw an upward trend, particularly notable in mid-December with a spike to approximately 10.9K downloads.

Step Counter - Pedometer exhibited a steady pattern with downloads ranging from around 2K to 4.6K throughout the quarter. The app’s weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 12.6K at the start and closing the quarter with about 10.5K active users.

YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter generated consistent revenue, peaking at approximately $5.4K in the week of November 20. Downloads varied, starting at about 1.4K and reaching a peak of 2.5K in mid-November. The app's weekly active users remained robust, starting at 35.3K and ending the quarter at around 35.5K.

Lastly, Zepp (formerly Amazfit) saw a gradual increase in revenue, culminating in approximately $448 by the end of December. Downloads showed a significant spike in mid-December, reaching around 4.1K. Weekly active users also grew steadily, starting at 28.4K and peaking at about 35.7K by the quarter’s end.
