Q4 2023 UK Android Wellness App Trends: Sensor Tower Insights

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the wellness app category on Android devices in the United Kingdom witnessed varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a glance at how the top five apps fared during this period.

ShutEye®: Sleep & Relax experienced a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 17K in mid-October and dipping to 9K towards the end of October. However, downloads rallied back to 16K by mid-December. Weekly active users showed an upward trend, growing from 24K to 35K across the quarter. Revenue also saw an increase in the latter half of Q4, finishing the year with $18K in the last week of December.

Me+ Daily Routine Planner saw its downloads surge to 18K in the final week of December from an earlier low of 3.7K in mid-October. The app's weekly active users more than doubled from 13K to 32K by the quarter's end. Revenue followed a similar upward trajectory, with a notable jump to $12K in the final week of December.

Lastly, Headspace: Sleep & Meditation exhibited a steady revenue pattern, starting at $31K in late September and ending slightly lower at $26K in December. Downloads saw a modest rise from 2.4K to 3.9K. The app's weekly active users peaked at 105K in early November but ended the quarter at 86K.
