As the year wraps up, Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top five wellness applications on the iOS platform in the United States for the fourth quarter of 2023.
ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker, Sound experienced a notable increase in downloads, starting the quarter with 40K and peaking at 212K in the final week. The app's revenue also showed a significant upward trend, from approximately $110K to $269K, while weekly active users grew from 85K to an impressive 255K.
For BetterSleep: Relax and Sleep, there was a fluctuation in downloads, with an early peak of 73K and a spike to 117K by the end of December. Revenue for the app peaked at $218K in late October but remained strong, closing the quarter at $218K. Weekly active users saw a steady increase from 434K to 527K.
Enerjoy Pte. Ltd.'s Me+ Daily Routine Planner had varied download numbers, with a high of 104K in early October and ending the quarter at over 102K. Revenue saw highs and lows, peaking at $122K. The app's weekly active users experienced a dip in November but rebounded to 442K by the end of December.
Monkey Taps' I am - Daily Affirmations showed a decrease in downloads from 46K to 39K. Revenue trends were mostly stable, with a slight increase from $83K in late September to around $79K at the quarter's end. Active users varied, peaking at 302K in early October and settling at 226K in the last week.
Calm maintained its position with stable revenues, starting at $770K and reaching over $820K. Downloads showed a modest increase from 36K to 55K. The app's weekly active users had a high of over 1M in the second week of October, ending the quarter with just under 978K.
