As the year wrapped up, Australia's food delivery service apps saw varied performance in the fourth quarter of 2023. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into the downloads and active user trends for these popular apps.

DoorDash - Food Delivery experienced a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 38K in late November and dipping to around 22K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 780K and rising to 811K in early October before falling to 683K at the end of the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery downloads remained above 21K for most of the quarter, with a noticeable increase to over 25K in late November. The app's weekly active users started strong at over 1M but saw a gradual decline, finishing at 941K in the last week of December.

Menulog - Food Delivery showed a consistent download rate hovering around 12K to 13K, with a slight uptick to approximately 13K in the last week of December. Active users started at 171K, decreased slightly over the quarter, and ended marginally higher at 157K.

Lastly, HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery downloads peaked at 5.4K in late October but then trended downwards to 2K by the year's end. The app's active user base saw its highest at 139K in early October, with a decline to 119K in the final week of December.
