Google Maps Go maintained a steady presence with downloads peaking at 42K in the last week of December, despite a slight dip in November. The app's weekly active users showed a slight fluctuation but ended the quarter with over 2.6M users.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its downloads surge to 51K in the festive week of December, a significant rise from around 24K at the quarter's start. The app's active users also reflected a growth, concluding the quarter with over 509K weekly active users.
Google Earth experienced a consistent download trend around the 10K mark, with a notable increase to 11K in the last week of December. Weekly active users for the app showed a year-end boost, reaching approximately 45K users.
For GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation, the downloads reflected a downward trend, dipping to 1.7K before rising to 2.4K in the final week. However, revenue remained relatively stable, hovering around $400 each week. The weekly active users saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at 24K.
Lastly, Live Traffic NSW had its downloads fluctuate, with a remarkable spike to 4.7K in mid-December. The weekly active users for this app also peaked in the same period, reaching over 7K users.
