With the first quarter of 2024 behind us, it's time to look at the performance of the top arcade racing games on the Android platform in the United States. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data offers valuable insights into how these high-octane games are faring in a competitive market.
Madbox's title showed a robust performance with revenue peaking at $131K in the latter half of February. Downloads saw a high of 26K in the first week of January, and weekly active users started at 113K, dipping to 93K in mid-February before rebounding to 110K in mid-March.
ELECTRONIC ARTS' Need for Speed™ No Limits also displayed a strong showing. Revenue trends fluctuated, reaching a high of $42K in the first week of January. Downloads spiked at 62K in late January, while active users reached a high of 193K at the same time, indicating a particularly engaging period for the game.
Gameloft SE's Asphalt 9: Legends saw revenues up to $40K in late January, with downloads reaching 42K in mid-February. Active users peaked at 65K in the same period, showing a significant engagement among the racing community.
CarX Drift Racing 2 maintained a steady but modest revenue stream, peaking at $6K in the opening week of January. Downloads and active users showed a consistent trend, with downloads hovering around 3K to 4K and active users maintaining around 7K to 8K throughout the quarter.
Another title from CarX Technologies, CarX Street, demonstrated similar revenue trends to its sibling, peaking at $5.9K in the first week of January. Downloads were stable at around 2K to 3K, and active users saw a slight increase from 11K to 12K by the end of March.
