Sensor Tower's latest data provides insight into the performance of the top five shooter games on Android in the US for the first quarter of 2024. Here's a snapshot of how these games have fared:
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 saw a fluctuating revenue trend, starting strong at $1.05M in the first week and dipping to $551K towards the end of January. Downloads remained relatively steady, with a peak of around 58K in mid-February. Weekly active users started at 1.25M and showed a slight decrease over the quarter.
Garena's Free Fire experienced a decline in revenue from $727K at the year's start to $484K by the quarter's end. Downloads saw a gradual increase, with almost 50K in the last week of March. The game maintained a strong weekly active user base, ending the quarter with over 2M active users.
War Robots Multiplayer Battles by MY.GAMES B.V. had consistent revenue around the $270K to $290K range throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a significant drop from 52K in the first week to around 17K by the end of March. The game's active users saw a decrease from 208K to approximately 133K.
PUBG MOBILE, published by Level Infinite, showed a varied revenue trend, peaking at $458K in mid-March. Downloads hovered around the 40K to 49K range, with weekly active users experiencing growth, finishing strong at 336K in the last week of March.
Lastly, Hunting Sniper from Sparks Info showed an upward trajectory in revenue, from $181K at the beginning of January to over $224K at the quarter's close. Downloads peaked at 57K in the first week but later stabilized around 38K. Active users showed a slight uptick, ending the quarter with 126K.
