Q1 2024 Performance of Top Virtual Fitness Apps in Latin America on Android

As the virtual fitness industry continues to thrive, Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into how the top apps in this category performed on Android in Latin America during the first quarter of 2024.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike witnessed a consistent download trend, with figures starting at 67K in the beginning of January and seeing a slight decrease to 43K by the end of March. Revenue peaked at $52K in the last week of March, while weekly active users showed a slight drop from 1.45M to 1.25M over the quarter.

Workout Planner Muscle Booster showed a significant decrease in downloads from 119K in the first week of January to 13K by the end of March. Weekly active users also saw a decreasing pattern, starting at 216K and ending at 46K. Revenue trends followed a similar downward trajectory, starting at $31K and falling to $10K.

Yoga-Go: Yoga For Weight Loss experienced fluctuating download numbers, with a high of 41K in the first week of January and a spike to 16K in the last week of March. The app's revenue saw a decline overall, starting at $27K and closing the quarter at $12K. Weekly active users dropped from 113K to 69K in the same period.

Home Fitness Coach: FitCoach downloads dipped from 33K to just under 3K, while weekly active users decreased from 86K to 20K. Revenue for FitCoach showed a decreasing pattern as well, starting at $21K and ending at $5K.

Gym WP - Workout Tracker & Log began the quarter with strong downloads at 39K and ended with 27K. Weekly active users had a slight increase, starting at 172K and rising to 174K. Revenue for Gym WP peaked at $12K in the second week of January before dropping to $8K by the end of March.
