In the first quarter of 2024, the wellness app category has seen varied performances across the top applications on the Android platform in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower offers a comprehensive look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Calm - Sleep, Meditate, Relax maintained a steady revenue stream throughout the quarter, peaking at nearly $175K in mid-January and then gradually declining to around $142K by the end of March. Downloads showed more volatility, with a high of 62K in mid-February but dipping to 31K by late March. Weekly active users started strong at 487K but saw a decrease to 421K over the quarter.

ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker experienced significant revenue growth in January, reaching over $131K, but saw a decline in March, ending at around $59K. Downloads spiked to 80K in late January but followed a downward trend to 28K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting at 152K and decreasing to 115K.
