The first quarter of 2024 showed interesting trends for top wellness apps on Android in Australia. Data from Sensor Tower provides us with a glimpse into how these apps are performing in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker saw a peak in downloads during the last week of January with over 12K new users, while weekly active users reached a high of 24K in the same period. Its revenue also hit a peak of 7K USD in the week of January 29th. However, both downloads and active users showed a declining trend towards the end of the quarter.

Calm - Sleep, Meditate, Relax maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at 13K USD in mid-March. Downloads, however, experienced a gradual decline from 3.7K in the first week of January to just under 2K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 22K to 24K mark throughout the quarter.

Me+ Daily Routine Planner had a strong start with over 9K downloads in the first week of January, but this number gradually decreased to just over 1K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trajectory, starting at 16K and ending at approximately 8.4K. Revenue for the app also decreased from 8K USD to just above 1K USD.

Balance: Meditation & Sleep showed a decrease in revenue from 7K USD in the first week of January to 3.2K by the end of March. Downloads and weekly active users also saw a decline, with downloads starting at 3.7K and falling to just over 1K, and active users dropping from 9.5K to 6.3K in the same period.

Headspace: Meditation & Sleep maintained a relatively consistent revenue stream, peaking at 11K USD in mid-February. The app's downloads fluctuated, with a notable spike to 2.7K in the first week of March. The number of weekly active users started at around 24K and had a slight decrease to just over 20K by the quarter's end.
