In the first quarter of 2024, the U.S. iOS virtual pet category saw varied performances among its top applications. Here's a look into how each app fared, with data courtesy of Sensor Tower.

Pengu - Raise Virtual Pets experienced a strong start with downloads peaking at 67K in the second week of January, before a gradual decline to 32K by the end of March. Revenue showed more stability, ranging from approximately $8K to $11K weekly, while weekly active users surged from 98K to a high of 165K in mid-March before slightly dropping to 154K.

My Talking Tom 2 maintained a steady download count, starting at 53K and dipping to 44K over the quarter. Revenue fluctuated modestly around the $1K mark, with a slight downtrend to $850 by March end. Active users started strong at 316K but saw a gradual decrease to 284K.

For My Talking Tom, downloads remained consistent, hovering around 30K throughout the quarter. Revenue saw a slight uptick from $293 to $403. Weekly active users began at 593K, dipped in mid-quarter, but recovered to 581K by the quarter's end.
