In the first quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Serbia saw varied performance across the top five apps. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the weekly downloads and revenue trends for these apps on a unified platform.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery had an interesting quarter with weekly downloads fluctuating significantly. The app started the quarter with around 9.2K downloads in the first week of January, peaking at 12.9K in the last week of February. However, there was a notable decline toward the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to approximately 1.7K in the final week of March.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained a more stable performance. Weekly downloads hovered around the 1.7K to 3K range, beginning the quarter at 2.7K and ending slightly lower at 1.7K. The app did not generate any weekly revenue during this period.
CAR:GO - Anywhere! experienced a gradual increase in downloads through the quarter. Starting with 965 downloads in the first week of January, the app saw a steady rise, reaching a peak of 1.6K downloads in mid-March, before slightly declining to 1.2K in the last week of March.
Bolt: Request a Ride showed a relatively stable download trend. It began the quarter with 1.1K downloads and maintained a consistent range, with slight fluctuations, ending March with around 526 downloads. The app did not record any revenue during this period.
Uber - Request a ride had a modest download performance throughout the quarter. Starting with 920 downloads in the first week of January, the app saw minor variations and concluded the quarter with 444 downloads in the last week of March. Similar to other apps, Uber did not report any weekly revenue during Q1 2024.
