In the first quarter of 2024, the top consumer finance applications in Belgium demonstrated varying performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here’s a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower for Easy Banking App, Belfius Mobile - Banking app, ING Banking, KBC Mobile, and Tricount - Split group bills.
Easy Banking App from BNP Paribas Fortis saw a significant peak in weekly downloads, reaching 69K in the week of January 22. However, downloads gradually declined, ending the quarter at approximately 9.7K. The app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users increasing from 676K at the start of January to around 767K by the end of March.
Belfius Mobile - Banking app experienced steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 5.6K and 6.8K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers showed a slight decline from 883K at the beginning of January to 851K by the end of March.
ING Banking had stable weekly downloads, ranging from 5.3K to 7.3K, with the highest downloads in the first week of January. Active users remained relatively consistent, starting at 175K and ending at 179K over the quarter.
KBC Mobile reported modest weekly revenue, peaking at $186 in the first week of January and maintaining around $169 by the end of March. The app saw stable weekly downloads around 5.3K to 6.4K and a strong active user base, increasing from 711K to 722K over the quarter.
Tricount - Split group bills showed a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $457 in the first week of March. Weekly downloads varied, with a high of 7.7K in the first week of January and around 4.9K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at approximately 22K.
