In the first quarter of 2024, the top five food and diet tracking applications in Latin America showed diverse performance trends across revenue, downloads, and active users. The data provided by Sensor Tower highlights the key metrics for each app, offering insights into their market presence.
Fitia - Diet & Meal Planner from Peru experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at approximately $31.9K in early January and peaking at around $32.1K in early March. Downloads saw a notable rise mid-quarter, reaching 76.5K in the first week of March. Active users showed an overall increase, climbing from 208.1K at the beginning of January to 218.3K by mid-March.
Kompanion Intermittent Fasting displayed a downward trend in revenue, starting at about $44.5K in January and dropping to around $13.2K by the end of March. Downloads also declined significantly, from 172.2K in the first week of January to just 13.3K in the last week of March. Active users decreased from 377.2K to 229.6K over the quarter.
YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter showed a gradual decrease in revenue from $49.3K in January to $23.4K by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated but ended on a high note, reaching 63.2K in the last week of March. Active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around the 700K mark, peaking at 754K in mid-March.
BMI Calculator had minimal revenue throughout the quarter, with the highest being $19 in mid-February. Downloads varied, starting at 97.8K in the first week of January, dropping to 20K in mid-March, and then spiking again to 57.2K by the end of March. Active users saw a decline from 199.1K in early January to 140.8K by the end of March.
Water Tracker: Water Reminder maintained a steady revenue stream, with weekly figures ranging from $44 to $83. Downloads peaked at 64.9K in mid-January but gradually decreased to 25K by the end of March. Active users remained stable, hovering around the 220K mark throughout the quarter.
