In the first quarter of 2024, several food delivery apps in Argentina showed notable performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here is a closer look at the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
PedidosYa - Delivery Online saw a dynamic trend in weekly downloads, starting with 50.2K in the first week of January and peaking at 64.3K by the end of the month. The downloads then fluctuated, closing the quarter at around 44.9K. In terms of active users, the app maintained a strong presence, beginning the quarter with approximately 1.57M and reaching a peak of 1.79M in mid-February before stabilizing around 1.63M by the end of March.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 13.3K and peaking at 22.3K by the end of February. Active users also showed a positive trend, beginning at 219.6K and climbing steadily to about 250.9K by the end of the quarter.
TaDa AR had a varied performance in downloads, starting with a low of 2.7K in early January, peaking at 11.6K mid-month, and then fluctuating before ending the quarter with 7.1K. Active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at 52.1K, peaking at 75.1K, and settling at 71.9K by the end of March.
Joyaa showed significant improvement in downloads, starting with just 72 in the first week of January and reaching a peak of 3.7K by the end of February. The downloads then fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at 3.5K.
Glovo: Food Delivery and More had relatively stable weekly downloads, starting at 2.2K and maintaining an average around this mark throughout the quarter. Active users for Glovo saw some fluctuations, beginning at 473.2K, peaking at 548.8K in mid-February, and closing the quarter at 439.5K.
