In the first quarter of 2024, Australia's food delivery market has seen varied user engagement across the top services. Data from Sensor Tower gives us a closer look at how these apps have performed in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

DoorDash - Food Delivery experienced a fluctuating download trend, starting with 26K in the first week of January and peaking at 40K in mid-February. Weekly active users began at 684K, dipping to 618K in the second week of January, and later surging to a high of 766K in the third week of February.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery maintained a consistent download count, hovering around 20K each week, with a slight increase to 21K in the third week of February. The app's weekly active users showed a robust pattern, starting at nearly 1M and reaching a peak of 1.05M in the last week of March.

Menulog - Food Delivery saw downloads ranging from 11K to 14K, indicating a relatively stable user interest. The app's active users remained steady, with a marginal decline from 156K in the first week of January to 142K by the end of March.

DoorDash - Dasher, the companion app for DoorDash drivers, showed a significant increase in downloads from 4.5K in the first week of January to a peak of 8.8K in the third week of February. The weekly active users also saw growth, starting at 36K and increasing to 41K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, HungryPanda熊猫外卖 had a notable jump in downloads from 3.8K in the first week to 9.6K in the third week of February. Weekly active users for the app grew from 10K to 15.7K in the same period, before settling to around 12K by the end of March.
