Sensor Tower's recent data showcases the performance of top MMORPGs on unified platforms in the United States for the first quarter of 2024. Here's a snapshot of how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Diablo Immortal from Blizzard Entertainment showed a fluctuating revenue with a notable peak of $879K in the last week of March. Downloads for the game reached up to 22K in the same week, while weekly active users saw a slight increase to 276K at the quarter's end.
Old School RuneScape by Jagex maintained a steady revenue stream, ending the quarter with $164K. Downloads peaked at nearly 9K in late January, and active users reached a high of 63K in the third week of January.
Ark Games' The Legend of Neverland experienced a revenue dip to $135K by the end of March, with downloads descending to 11K. The weekly active users concluded at 93K, showing a slight decline from the start of the year.
NEXON's MapleStory M: Fantasy MMORPG witnessed varied revenue, spiking at $346K in early February, while downloads remained relatively low, hovering around 1-2K. The active user base showed a modest decrease to 3.5K by the quarter's end.
The newest entrant, Ragnarok Origin: ROO from Gravity Game Vision, launched at the end of February and quickly generated $474K in revenue with a significant 116K downloads in its debut week. Weekly active users saw an impressive jump to 68K following the release.
