In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 snake games on the Android platform in Latin America showcased a variety of performance trends. Here’s a closer look at each app’s metrics based on data from Sensor Tower.
Snake.io - Fun Snake .io Games saw significant growth in downloads and revenue. Downloads peaked at approximately 690K in the week of June 17, up from around 526K in early April. Revenue also surged, reaching about $667 in the final week of June, a notable increase from $241 at the beginning of April. Weekly active users (WAU) fluctuated but ended the quarter on a high note with around 4.4M users.
Snake Clash! experienced a strong upward trend in downloads and WAU. Downloads increased steadily, peaking at approximately 493K in the last week of June, up from around 183K in early April. WAU also rose significantly, reaching about 1.5M by the end of the quarter. Revenue showed some variability, peaking at around $404 in mid-April and closing at $290 in late June.
Worms Zone .io - Hungry Snake had a more modest performance. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 121K in the last week of June. WAU remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at approximately 1.3M. Revenue peaked at around $275 in early April but saw a gradual decline, closing at $120 in late June.
slither.io maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with a peak of about 114K in the final week of June. WAU showed a steady increase, reaching approximately 1.4M by the end of the quarter. Notably, this app had no reported revenue during this period.
Snake Lite - Snake Game had a steady increase in downloads, peaking at around 96K in the last week of June. WAU also increased, reaching approximately 294K by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $24 in early April and fluctuating slightly before closing at $9 in late June.
