Top 5 Food and Drink Apps on Android in Greece: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, Greece's top food and drink applications on the Android platform saw varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

efood delivery demonstrated a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads. Starting at approximately 9.6K downloads in early July, the app peaked at 10.3K in early August before settling at around 9.9K by the end of September. Active users, however, showed a consistent increase from 138K in early July to around 154K by the end of the quarter.

Wolt Delivery: Food and more experienced a noticeable rise in weekly downloads, starting from 11.7K and ending the quarter at 14.1K. The active users trend mirrored this growth, increasing from 93K to 100K throughout the quarter.

BOX maintained a steady growth in downloads, beginning the quarter with 6.1K and reaching 7.6K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly but generally staying around 60K.

The McDonald's app saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 2.5K and dropping to 1.9K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 24.8K to 21.7K over the same period.

Finally, Mystery Pot: End Food Waste had a challenging quarter, with downloads decreasing from 3.5K at the start of July to 1.2K by the end of September. Despite this, the app's initiative to tackle food waste continues to gain attention.
