During the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in Germany showcased distinct trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

TomTom GO Navigation from TomTom International BV saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at roughly $45.6K in mid-August. Downloads showed a significant spike in early August, reaching approximately 22.8K, while active users peaked at about 37.3K in the same period, before experiencing a gradual decline toward the end of the quarter.

calimoto — Motorcycle GPS from calimoto GmbH demonstrated strong revenue performance, with a peak of approximately $44.3K in late August. Weekly downloads remained relatively steady throughout the quarter, with a slight dip in September, while active users showed a gradual decline from around 3.4K to 2.2K by the end of September.

Navionics® Boating, published by Garmin Italy Technologies srl, experienced a steady revenue stream, peaking at about $18.2K in late July. Although downloads remained low, they maintained a consistent level, with active users peaking at 624 in mid-August before a slight decline in September.
