In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top medical apps on the Android platform in Latin America displayed diverse trends in downloads and active user engagement. This analysis draws on data from Sensor Tower, offering insights into the region's leading health applications.
Meu SUS Digital saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting with approximately 96K in early July and peaking at around 119K mid-month before settling at about 105K by the end of September. Active users for this app showed a peak of nearly 1M mid-July, with numbers stabilizing around 793K by the end of the quarter.
For Farmacias del Ahorro, downloads began at approximately 41K in early July, with a gradual increase to about 69K mid-August. However, a sharp decline was observed towards the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to around 17K. Active users reflected a similar trend, peaking at 222K in mid-August before declining to approximately 146K by late September.
DiabeData experienced varied download numbers, beginning with around 11K in mid-August, spiking to over 116K by late August, and then tapering off. Active users mirrored this pattern, surging to 179K in early September before stabilizing around 109K by the end of the quarter.
Doctoralia: agende seu médico maintained relatively stable download figures throughout the quarter, starting at 17K and concluding with about 26K. Active users demonstrated a steady increase, beginning at 33K in early July and reaching 44K by the quarter's end.
Lastly, طب الأعشاب had a significant increase in downloads mid-July, reaching approximately 189K, although data for other weeks in the quarter was not available.
