In the fourth quarter of 2024, the food delivery app landscape in Mexico showed dynamic trends across several key players. Here's a breakdown of the top performers on the Android platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.
DiDi Food: Express Delivery showed a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 69K at the beginning of October and peaking at 82K by the end of December. The app maintained a robust base of weekly active users, ranging from 2.8M to 3.4M throughout the quarter.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, beginning from 63K and reaching up to 84K towards the end of December. The active user base fluctuated slightly, with numbers between 3M and 3.7M.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery maintained a consistent download pattern, starting at 65K and observing a peak of 70K in late December. The active users showed a slight decline over the quarter, from 4.3M to 3.8M.
TaDa Delivery de Bebidas MX saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 22K and peaking at 61K in late November. The app's active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 220K.
Juntos+ experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting at 13K and dropping to 5K towards the end of the quarter. However, the active user count showed resilience, maintaining a range from 110K to 130K.
