Top 5 Food Delivery Apps on Android in the Netherlands, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Dutch food delivery app market on Android saw varying performance across the top five applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated distinct trends in downloads and active users.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw its weekly downloads start at around 7.6K, with a noticeable decline to approximately 4K by the end of December. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from about 410K at the beginning of the quarter to around 330K.

Thuisbezorgd.nl maintained a steady download rate, beginning at approximately 3.9K and peaking at nearly 5K in the last week of December. Active users showed a marked increase, starting from 364K and rising to 483K by quarter's end.

Picnic Online Supermarket experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting at 5.7K, dipping mid-quarter, and then surging back to 5.7K in the final week. Active users grew from 362K to 362K, with a peak of 425K in early December.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery had a decline in downloads from 2.9K to 1.9K over the quarter. Active users fluctuated, starting at 143K, peaking at 173K, and ending at 147K.

Lastly, ochama began the quarter with 2.2K downloads, experiencing a slight dip mid-quarter, and closed the year with 1.7K. Active users increased from 21.9K to a peak of 29.1K before settling at 24.4K.
