In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Australia showed varied performance trends on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.
MyMacca's from McDonald’s Australia Limited experienced a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 55K in early October and dropping to approximately 22K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, beginning at roughly 2.4M and seeing a dip to about 1.9M towards the end of the quarter.
KFC - Order On The Go maintained a relatively stable download rate, averaging around 21K weekly, with a slight decline towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed an upward trend initially, peaking at nearly 1M in mid-November, but tapered off to approximately 867K by late December.
Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering saw a moderate decrease in weekly downloads, starting at about 18K and ending at 15K. The active user count fluctuated, reaching a high of around 630K, but concluded the quarter with approximately 463K users.
Guzman y Gomez (GYG) Mexican showed a declining trend in downloads from 17.5K to about 13K weekly by the end of December. Active users also decreased from around 260K to approximately 224K over the quarter.
Finally, Domino's app downloads remained steady, hovering around 13K weekly, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Active users grew from around 306K to 335K.
