In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top five news applications in Greece showed varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users according to Sensor Tower data.

X from X Corp. saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $7.4K in late November. Downloads grew steadily, reaching 5.3K by the end of December, while active users fluctuated, ranging from 600K to around 525K.

Reddit experienced modest revenue growth, with a peak of $99 in the week before Christmas. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 3.8K, while active users hovered around 135K towards the end of the quarter.

Google News maintained consistent downloads, with a slight increase to 629 by the end of December. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 157K and ending at 149K.

Substack saw a gradual increase in downloads, reaching 936 by the end of December. Active users also grew, peaking at 7.1K in the final week.
