In the first quarter of 2025, the Netherlands saw significant activity in the consumer finance app sector on Android, as detailed by Sensor Tower's data.
Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade, published by Revolut Ltd, experienced a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting the quarter at approximately 7K and peaking at around 9.9K mid-January. Active users showed a consistent upward trajectory, beginning at 256K and reaching 336K by the end of March.
ING Netherlands also had a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads beginning at 4.5K and peaking at 7.8K towards the end of February. The number of active users remained strong throughout, fluctuating slightly around the 2.1M mark.
Rabobank maintained steady download numbers, starting the quarter with 5.3K downloads, and experiencing a notable increase to 8.8K by the end of March. Active users showed a stable presence, hovering around 1.7M.
ABN AMRO saw a rise in downloads from 3K to a peak of 6.4K in late February. However, active users demonstrated a slight decline, descending from 1M to approximately 963K by the quarter's end.
Lastly, bunq recorded downloads starting at 4.7K, with a peak of 5.8K in mid-February. Active users showed fluctuations, beginning at 163K and ending at 179K.
