In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top food delivery apps on the Android platform in Australia showcased varying trends in downloads and active users. This data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers insights into the market dynamics.
DoorDash: Food, Grocery, More saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 12.6K by the end of March. Active user numbers fluctuated but ended the quarter with a rise from 338.6K to 358.4K.
BWS downloads began strongly with a peak of 17.5K in early January, but gradually declined to around 5.6K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 82K to 45.7K.
Uber Eats: Food and Grocery maintained a steady download rate, with a notable increase to 11.2K in February. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 700K throughout the quarter.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced significant growth in downloads, reaching a high of 14.9K in late March. Active users increased from 20.9K to 50.1K, reflecting rising engagement.
Menulog AU | Food Delivery showed a gradual increase in downloads, from 3.8K to 3.6K by quarter's end. Active users saw a slight decline before recovering to 127.8K.
