In the first quarter of 2025, the top personal finance applications on the Android platform in Spain showed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared over the quarter according to Sensor Tower data.
Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker from BudgetBakers saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $258 in the final week of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, with a high of about 399 in early January, while active users grew from 5.8K to 6.8K by the end of the quarter.
Splitwise maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads starting at 4K, ending with a peak of 4.2K. Revenue showed an upward spike, reaching $286 in the last week of March. Active users remained robust, hovering around the 200K mark throughout the quarter.
Spendee: Budget App & Tracker experienced a gradual decline in downloads, starting at 210 and ending at 118. Revenue also saw a decrease, closing the quarter at $110. Active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around 450.
Monefy - Budget & Expenses app had a notable start with 710 downloads, which tapered off to 466 by March. Revenue peaked in early January at $293, before settling at $134. Active users increased steadily from 6.9K to 8.2K.
Finally, YNAB showed a consistent pattern in active users, remaining around 180. Downloads were modest, with a peak of 89 in early January, and revenue varied, reaching $211 mid-quarter.
