State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, several tools apps on the Android platform in Belgium demonstrated notable performance trends. Here's a breakdown of the top five applications based on their weekly downloads and active user metrics.
MyGov.be saw a significant fluctuation in downloads, starting strong with over 18K in early January and peaking at approximately 29K mid-month. However, this was followed by a gradual decline, ending the quarter with just over 5K downloads. The app maintained a steady increase in active users, reaching a high of approximately 31.9K by mid-March before slightly dropping to 24.8K by the end of the quarter.
QR & Barcode Scanner experienced consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 7K to 12K, with a notable peak in mid-March at approximately 10.1K. Active users fluctuated but ended on a high note, rising from 318K at the start to 373K by the quarter's end.
PDF Viewer: PDF Fill & Sign had a dynamic quarter, with downloads spiking to around 18.6K in early February, before stabilizing between 6K and 14K. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at just 496 and climbing to a peak of 22.2K by late March.
Samsung Smart Switch Mobile maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 5K and 10K. Active users saw a peak of nearly 73.8K in late February but experienced a decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing at approximately 46.2K.
Google Translate showed a strong start with downloads peaking at 11.6K in early January, followed by a decline to around 5.5K by the end of March. The app's active user base remained robust throughout, consistently keeping above 630K and reaching a high of 656K at the quarter's close.
