2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the top 5 hack and slash applications on iOS in the United States showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Solo Leveling:Arise from Netmarble Corporation saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $226.7K in mid-March, with a notable increase in downloads reaching 41.6K. The app's active users grew significantly, peaking at 178.8K in mid-February before experiencing a gradual decline.
Zenless Zone Zero by COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD. recorded a substantial spike in weekly revenue, reaching $566.4K in late January. Downloads saw a peak of 20.4K in the week of March 10, while active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 159.7K towards the end of the quarter.
TRIBE NINE from Akatsuki Games Inc. launched in February and initially garnered 58.6K downloads, but saw a rapid decline to 1.8K by early March. Revenue followed a similar trend, starting at $33.4K and dropping to $368 by the end of March. Active users decreased from 56.9K to 1.7K over the same period.
Hades - NETFLIX maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers hovering around 3.5K to 4.4K weekly. Active users remained steady between 67K and 71K throughout the quarter, though the app did not generate revenue.
MARVEL Future Fight, another title from Netmarble Corporation, experienced a decrease in weekly revenue, starting at $145K and ending at $99.2K. Downloads and active users also saw a downward trend, with downloads dropping from 4.4K to 1.9K and active users reducing from 16.8K to 9.6K.
