Top 5 iOS Navigation and Maps Apps in Portugal: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Portugal showed varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 5.1K and 7.5K. The app saw a gradual increase in weekly active users, rising from around 806K at the start of the quarter to approximately 872K by the end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced an initial dip in weekly downloads, starting at 7.9K and dropping to 4.7K by the end of March. Despite this, weekly active users showed resilience, peaking at 566K mid-quarter before settling at 540K.

Via Verde saw a notable spike in weekly downloads, reaching 5.3K towards the end of January. Active users increased from 53K to 51.7K over the quarter, with fluctuations throughout.
