During the first quarter of 2025, Brazil's carpooling and ridesharing market showed dynamic trends across various leading apps. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at the performance of these apps on a unified platform.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 282K to 329K. The app's active users steadily increased from 21.4M to 25.8M by the end of March.
inDrive. Save on city rides experienced a gradual rise in downloads, peaking at around 137K in mid-March. Active users remained fairly stable, fluctuating between 2.6M and 3M.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw its downloads start at 90K, reaching a high of 113K in early January. Active users showed a slight decline over the quarter, ending at approximately 4.1M.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had a varied download pattern, with numbers fluctuating between 75K and 154K. Active users decreased initially but showed signs of recovery towards the end of the quarter, stabilizing around 2.4M.
Finally, Ubiz Car Brasil saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of 19K in early March. Active users hovered between 79K and 97K throughout the quarter.
