During the first quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing sector in Italy showed diverse trends across the top apps on a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing patterns in weekly downloads and active users for these leading applications.

Uber - Request a ride maintained strong performance with a notable increase in weekly downloads from 25.7K at the start of January to 33K by the end of March. The number of weekly active users also showed an upward trend, growing from 257K to 365K over the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a gradual rise in downloads, starting at 13.2K and peaking at 17.5K mid-March. Active users displayed stability with a slight increase, ending the quarter at approximately 156K.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery showed a decline in weekly downloads from 5.5K to 2.3K. However, the active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 170K throughout the quarter.
