In the first quarter of 2025, several fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Australia demonstrated notable performance metrics. The insights, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlight trends in weekly downloads and active user engagement across a unified platform.
MyMacca's saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 36K by mid-March. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, starting from 1.9M at the beginning of the quarter and reaching over 2M by the end.
KFC - Order On The Go maintained a steady download rate, with a notable peak of around 22K in early February. The app's active users fluctuated, experiencing highs of 891K in mid-March.
Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering showed a varied download pattern, with a noticeable increase to approximately 19K by the end of March. The active user base grew steadily, reaching over 532K by the quarter's close.
Guzman y Gomez (GYG) Mexican experienced a gradual increase in downloads, ending the quarter at about 16K. The active users also rose, reaching 280K by the end of March.
Domino's downloads remained relatively stable, with slight increases noted towards the end of the quarter, peaking at approximately 12.5K. Active users hovered around the 320K mark throughout the period.
