In the first quarter of 2025, the food delivery sector in Colombia witnessed varied performance across the top five apps. Sensor Tower provides insights into the weekly trends of these apps on a unified platform.
Rappi - Deliveries in Minutes saw its weekly downloads fluctuate between 29K and 42K, with a notable peak in early January. Despite minimal revenue generation, its active user base remained strong, hovering around 3M with a peak of 3.3M in late February.
DiDi Food - Food Delivery maintained steady download numbers, ranging from 27K to 34K weekly. Active users increased significantly, reaching a peak of 1.3M in early March, despite zero revenue reported.
TiendasYa Domicilio de Bebidas experienced a decline in downloads from 18.7K to around 5K weekly. However, its active users increased from 161K in early February to 146K by the end of March.
Juntos+ showed a consistent increase in active users, climbing from 37K to nearly 49K by the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads varied between 3.6K and 6.5K, indicating steady user interest.
GoodMeal reported a dramatic rise in downloads, peaking at 29K in mid-January. Active users peaked at 20.5K in the same period but later stabilized around 5K by the end of March.
