Top 5 Food Delivery Apps in Ghana: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the food delivery app market in Ghana showed diverse performance trends across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at each app's performance in terms of downloads and active users.

Bolt Food experienced a consistent flow in weekly downloads, starting at around 8.3K at the beginning of January and closing March with approximately 8.3K downloads. The app saw a gradual increase in weekly active users, peaking at around 70.5K by the end of the quarter.

Zepto:10 Min Grocery Delivery* showed a significant rise in downloads, particularly noticeable from mid-January. Downloads surged to about 4.3K in mid-March, while active users increased steadily, reaching nearly 8.9K in the same period.

Blinkit: Grocery in 10 minutes also saw a positive trend in downloads, which climbed to a peak of 4.6K by late February. Active users followed a similar upward trend, culminating in approximately 14.6K by mid-March.

Glovo: Food Delivery, Takeaway maintained a stable download rate throughout the quarter, starting at around 2K and finishing at approximately 1.7K. The app's active user base fluctuated slightly but remained robust, ending the quarter with around 104.2K users.

Uber Eats: Food & Groceries saw modest growth in downloads, peaking at about 1.2K in mid-March. The active user count remained relatively stable, hovering around 36.9K by the end of March.
