Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Greece: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top navigation and maps applications on a unified platform in Greece showcased varying trends in downloads and active users.

Google Maps Go from Google LLC experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 9.6K at the end of December 2024 and tapering off to about 5.2K by the end of March 2025. Despite this, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 4.8M.

vintrica Mobility saw a sharp decrease in weekly downloads, beginning at 14.4K and dropping to just 166 by the end of the quarter. However, weekly active users demonstrated a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at approximately 38.5K.

Google Earth had a notable increase in downloads in early March, reaching a high of 9.5K before settling back to around 3.2K by the end of the quarter. Its active users showed consistent engagement, maintaining numbers around 81.8K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced fluctuating download numbers, with significant spikes mid-March at 5.1K. Active users saw a gradual recovery, ending the quarter at approximately 16.2K.

Lastly, Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer from Appcentric Team maintained a steady number of weekly downloads, with a peak of 1.3K in early March. Active users remained stable, averaging around 3.3K throughout the quarter.
